Are the Pittsburgh Hornets members of a league?
The Pittsburgh Hornets Midget Major team is a member of the Midwest Elite Hockey League, the most prominent showcase league in the United States. Our other teams play aggressive, independent schedules against the top competition and our teams participate in the best tournaments at each age division with the most competitive fields. We have consistently declined to enter our teams in a league just for the sake of having our players play in a league - most leagues simply do not meet our competitive standards and do not provide the quality of competition we believe is necessary for the optimum development of our players.
